Haywire Festival 2018(TM/RO) - full concept

HAYWIRE FESTIVAL 2018 (Timisoara / Romania)

I was so thrilled when my brothers from Haywire Booking asked me to participate along them in creating the concept for 2018's festival.

We gathered around and decided to go with a different approach this time, instead of using just illustrations for the concept, to go with a mixed version instead, that'll be based upon video imagery, photography and illustration to tell it's story.

Also due to the style of the bands attending the festival we knew that we wanted a dark theme and having some roots within our traditional mythology. I quickly started to imagine this hut with its witchy simbols or decorations that'll tell a story without the necessity of special effects. I pictured the whole thing filmed in black and white and the guys gave me full liberty to develop my ideas and visions.

Step by step they helped me build the scene where later on we filmed the videos for the band announcement and also took photos that would be used for cover images on the social media platforms.
