DGI Trading USA Website Case Study

DGI Trading USA Website
DGI Trading USA literally had no online presence. No website, very little social media marketing and no email marketing. Most sales were word-of-mouth (they did have 1 brochure that they would send out) and the fact that they have been an industry leader for many years. We were tasked to bring their brand online and launch their web presence in 2017.
THE MEETING
In 2018, we began a relationship with DGI Trading USA. DGI wanted us to create a website for their company.

The problem was - they were a multi-million dollar company but had not web presence at all.
THE BRIEF
DGI wanted a site that:
- Was brand specific
- Easily maintained
- Served as a way to increase sales
- Would highlight machines for sale
- Was user friendly
- Was Device Responsive
THE EXECUTION
Going into the project with no previous site to "re-design" was challenging and easy at the same time. Starting with a clean slate can be refreshing, and DGI had only one brochure to base branding on.

For this project we kept it simple and used alot of hero shots of equipment, the DGI color scheme of black, red & white, and a bold typeface to really stand out.
THE RESULTS
We worked with DGI to develop numerous layouts and UX/UI designs until they settled on this design.

It met all of their criteria. The big, bold graphics correlate to their niche of large machinery, the sign up form is an easy way to capture potential customers and has increased the conversion and retention rates of the website.

The site is also responsive to all devices to give customers a better overall experience and access no matter where they are accessing the site from.
