My City Plants
We’re in the middle of a plant-parent baby boom – millennials are packing their homes and offices with full forests of greenery. And this is thanks in no small part to the awesome team at My City Plants, the leading online plant shop in the New York area (and our neighbors in LIC).
When they came to us to help refresh their brand, we began with in-depth interviews with their team and loyal customers. From these conversations, a concise and inspirational new tagline emerged: “Grow Something Beautiful.” We then paired this brand essence with an elegant and retro logomark and a beautifully vibrant palette. The results still make us smile every time we pass their door down the hall.
Pattern
As a secondary brand element, the My City Plants pattern can be used for large fields or backgrounds. The pattern is formed from a repeated and rotated geometric leaf in green stroke on a white background. This element, reminiscient of a mid-century modern aesthetic, allows the brand to “own” a diverse range of applications.
