Inspiration for this project came from console televisions of the past that accomplished being both a focal point of the living room while still feeling integrated to the space.

Today TV design is precise and exact, effectively highlighting the cutting-edge technology within. And while this effectively sells the tech at the showroom, it lacks the warmth to connect it to the home environment.

Further, while TVs get continually thinner, the layout of few TVs have leveraged new, flexible display technologies. OLEDs allow an opportunity for screens to flow and fold and so to become  invisible when the TV isn’t being used, opening new aesthetic avenues.
