The project was a 5-day extensive workshop led by Ursula Achternkamp, a German Freelance Artist, conducted during my Masters at Hochschule Anhalt.
The purpose of the project was to research on the topic of sleep and to visualize the findings in the form of an exhibition. I chose the process of sleep paralysis since the phenomenon seems to be rather unexplored or uncommon when compared to other aspects of sleep.
My goal was to depict the unsettling and suffocating feelings of sleep paralysis in a conceptual way via the execution of exhibition design. The result is an experiential design installation combining spatial, visual and acoustic elements to give an abstract glimpse into the feeling of sleep paralysis
