Poster Challenge

As Tool fans eagerly await the release of their new album—last release was 10,000 Days (2006)—I decided to embark on a personal project where I've been designing 1x Tool inspired poster per week (on Instagram) until the album comes out.

Each poster is inspired by one of their songs, using the song title as the basis for the design. Their long and complex releases often unify musical experimentation, visual arts, and a message of self evolution—exemplified by the iconic Forty Six & 2. My goal is to interpret the meaning of the songs and represent them using a variety of typographic and visual styles.
