Lendwill is a female-founded startup creating a revolutionary app for lending and borrowing money.
Money is a serious topic, but Lendwill wanted to make it feel friendly, cute, and accessible.
I worked with the brand designer to create a colorful, lush, distinct world filled with cute animals representing money borrowers, lenders, teachers, and facilitators.

I worked with our art director to create a unique style for Lendonomy complete with character and background designs. The backgrounds were easy to come up with; for the animals I had to find the right balance of texture vs. flat surfaces and find a style for the faces that could communicate emotion without too much detail.
We created several illustrations for the site plus elements for the release of the app later on, including avatars.
We devised the Lendwill logo around the central concept of the "trust tree", a metaphor for the ecosystem of trust and growth that Lendwill cultivates for its users.
