DESIGN CHALLENGE:
Create an online hub for students to manage their educational lifecycle. From applying to Emory’s Goizueta Business School’s MBA program and managing the submission process, to viewing important events, requesting appointments, accessing important applications, and even alumni services, such as requesting transcripts.
SOLUTION:
Working with an array of Emory's key university staff, we developed an end-to-end student journey from prospect to alumni. This process included conducting stakeholder interviews, focus groups with current students (and alumni), developing workflows to identify areas of improvement, as well as defining feature-driven needs by targeted key user segmentation. The resulting interactive prototype was used to validate with current students (and alumni), as well as helped in determining structural changes to the back-end architecture to facilitate a friendly experience for Goizueta's students.
