Incubate was asked to redesign the look, feel and functionality of OPB’s On-Air Identity system that they initially created back in 2006. The objective was not only to bring renewed life to the graphic logo but to also create a graphic system that could conceptually reference and support the various individuals, communities and ideas that make up OPB’s programming. Working with a foundational concept of individual parts coming together to make a whole, our process led us down a number of exciting paths. We ended with a cohesive and vibrant set of new animated graphics, templates and sound marks. The end result was a contemporary look that compliments the station’s goals, programming and voice.
