A Good Life for All
Data Visualizations for Scientific American
I designed two data visualizations for Scientific American's piece  «A Good Life for All. Can humans live well without pillaging the planet?».
The piece has been published online and on Scientific American's July issue.

Purpose of the piece is showing how, according to a recent study, «many wealthy nations achieve a range of social objectives that together can provide a good life for their people. But to do so, they exceed their share of the earth's natural resources and surpass environmental impact limits needed to safeguard the planet.»
In order to communicate the analysis, we decided to visualize for a set of countries the indicators related to the social goals and the environmental limits. I worked on a visual model finalized to show both the categories of indicators, keeping them as different visual elements but allowing a comparison among their behaviors.
