END OF THE CURRENT INTERGLACIAL?

END OF THE CURRENT INTERGLACIAL?

Since fear mongering and sensationalism over climate change and man-made global warming is so popular today, I'm beginning to feel left out. So here goes my version:

The Vostok ice core data clearly shows that Earth is at, or very near, the end of the current warm interglacial.
The Little Ice Age, from 1300-1870, during which temperatures were the coldest since the end of the last ice age 11,700 years ago, may have been the first sign that the next ice age is almost upon us.

If, IF!, the apparent warming since the 1870s is not a natural, temporary rebound from the Little Ice Age, but is a result of man-made increases in atmospheric CO2, then man-made global warming may be mankind's only hope of moderating, delaying, or even staving off, the onset of the next, otherwise absolutely inevitable and totally catastrophic ice age that will make a two-degree C. warmer Earth look like a Sunday school picnic in June.
