Canada has nine of the world's largest 25 lakes, but of those nine, only the five shown above are entirely contained within the Canadian land mass and share no border with any other country.
Add these to the inventory of Northwest Canada's immense resource wealth.
In comparison, five of the largest 25 lakes are in, or bordering on, the U.S. and, four, if the salty Caspian Sea is excluded, are in, or bordering on, Russia.
