The extension provides for open living/ dining/ kitchen space, wine cellar, three additional bedrooms with a balcony to the rear. Outbuildings allow for 4-bay garage, gym, office and a link for storage. There is an underground link that connects house with the outbuildings.
To increase energy efficiency for a renovated dwelling PV solar panels has been proposed on south and west elevations with batteries to store the energy, triple glazed windows, mechanical ventilation heat recovery system (MVHR) and ground source heat pumps.
