At Shopee, we stay true to our core to consistently be disruptive and relevant. This year, things became even more special. We meticulously planned and partnered with YG Entertainment to have their hottest girlband, Blackpink, as our Brand Ambassador.
When November 11th arrived, all E Commerce brands in Indonesia (and in the world) are trying to steal the conversation by having the biggest discounts, promos, etc. On the day itself, when everyone is saying the same thing, we announced that Blackpink is exclusively invited by Shopee to perform in Indonesia. To watch them live, all you got to do is to shop at Shopee.
We didn't stop there. We created a promo video for the upcoming national online shopping day (12.12) and kicked off the promo by having Blackpink to open the event on November 19th. We also use this opportunity to create some key visuals featuring the girls.
