For this personal project, I created a visual representation of Athena, the Greek mythological goddess.

This illustration is mythical, mystical and slightly nonsensical –  it embodies the harmonious union of strength and femininity in an alternate reality. The rich colours and morphing forms pay tribute to Athena’s symbolic roots. Olive greens, deep reds and sharp golds evoke passionate and powerful emotional connotations, while the ever-morphing forms portray beautiful soft, feminine undertones. The designs power lies in the unity of both. By placing the design on a tangible object like a t-shirt, Athena’s spirit comes to life.
