Learning Management System
In 2013, a couple of friends and I won a Startup Weekend competition in Florianópolis, Brazil. We used the prize to bootstrap a product that facilitated the work of independent, private educators, such as language and music instructors. Our startup never took off :-)
Tool for Calculating Oil Fields' Capacity
In 2012, while I was doing my Masters in Design, I worked at a research lab funded by Brazil's state oil company, Petrobras. Petrobras needed a user interface to facilitate the work of engineers responsible for calculating the capacity of recently-discovered oil fields. Prior to having this tool, engineers used terminal commands to run and monitor calculations.
Customer Relationship Management System
From 2008 to 2011 I worked at a distance learning company. However, one of the coolest projects I did there had nothing to do with education. In 2009 I designed the Customer Relationship Management software that salespeople used to monitor leads and close deals. As you can see below, I was heavily influenced by Twitter's aesthetic at the time. I also designed some cute icons that were never used.
