    Hello! is a new wireless charger which reinterpreted a new point that the existing wireless charger could not intuitively identify the state of charge. The existing wireless charger was difficult to visually check the state of charge when charging the mobile phone. Another problem is that many bacteria are breeding in mobile phones. So, I thought about a way to continuously charge and sterilize at the same time. I got a hint from the metaphor where the bread bounces back at the toaster. Pop-up wireless charger that can intuitively check the state of charge.

Hello! is a new wireless charger which reinterpreted a new point that the existing wireless charger could not intuitively identify the state of charge. 
The existing wireless charger was difficult to visually check the state of charge when charging the mobile phone. Another problem is that many bacteria are breeding in mobile phones. So, I thought about a way to continuously charge and sterilize at the same time. I got a hint from the metaphor where the bread bounces back at the toaster. Traditionally we used a toaster to write bread. I thought that pushing the lever of the toaster down will charge the mobile phone with the baking process.

BACKGROUND

The existing wireless charger was difficult  o visually check the state of charge when charging the mobile phone. I thought about a way to intuitively visualize and confirm the charging completion state when the mobile phone placed in the wireless charger is charged.

PROBLEM
Lump of bacteria carried around daily

According to the National Center for Cell Science (NCCS) and FOX NEWS, the daily smartphone we carry is detected 18 times more than the bacteria in the toilet bowl. Smart phones that carry around in their hands all the time can cause illness. That's why you need items that periodically clean your smartphone.



DESIGN STORY

Traditionally I used a toaster to write bread. I got a hint from the metaphor where the bread bounces back at the toaster. I thought that pushing the lever of the toaster down will charge the mobile phone with the baking process. Also, the heat generated during the baking process was interpreted as sterilization. Because cell phones have many invisible bacteria, sterilization is necessary. And, I thought that the process of baking bread at the toaster was ultraviolet sterilization. It can keep clean state through sterilization at the same time as charging.


SKETCH

We will have an unfamiliar experience from familiar ones. In order to increase the usability of the wireless charger, We studied the user environment of the toaster and applied it.


INTUITIVE VISUALIZATION

When charging is completed, the cell phone will pop up and says Hello!
