Kinetic Wi-Fi Router
Router that can check the state of the Internet connection by the movement of the antenna.
Kinetic Wi-Fi Router can check the Internet transmission status via antenna movement. I designed a new router as a kinetic art object where conventional routers can bring interior effect. This design makes it possible to intuitively check the transmission state by using a simple moving antenna and take action.
Existing routers have been recognized as devices that simply relay and transmit Internet signals. As a result, the router was installed mainly invisible, and the transmission status was bad. On the contrary, in order to improve the transmission state, we had to set up a router that emphasized only the function well in a well visible place. I thought about design that solves this problem and can also give a good interior effect.
I was inspired by Kinetic Art, which is characterized by simple and repetitive movements. So, I focused on making it possible to intuitively confirm the transmission state of invisible radio waves through kinetic art through simple and repetitive motion of the antenna.

The state of the Internet connection can be identified by the movement of the antenna and it is made up of two kinds. The user can connect and use the signal that he wishes to use among the two signals, and if the Internet transmission is smoothly carried out, the mobile will rotate in a stable manner. However, if the reception ratio is low and the transmission state is bad, the mobile stops operating. You can intuitively check the reception state via the movement of these the mobile.

Why Long and Short Antenna?
The transmission wavelength is long, the obstacle avoidance reflection and the refractive power are good, the reception distance is longer, the signal interference is many and the speed is slow.
