Vice Photoshoot Inspiration
Composition
This photo is by Matthew Shave. I really like the composition of this photograph, I want my front cover to have a similar close up composition. I also want my model to have bare shoulders.
Lighting
These photographs are by Jack Eames. I really like the lighting he has in his photographs as you can see the model clearly. For my own photoshoot I am leaning more towards the third photo because I want a light grey background to make the photoshoot look sharp and slick. I feel like if the background is too dark it will create a whole different mood in my photos.
This is a Photoshoot of Lisa from Kpop group 'Blackpink'. She was modelling for a fashion photoshoot with 'W Korea'. I was interested in the lighting for this photoshoot as they were using a grey background, the same colour that we need for Vice. Also she posted behind the scenes photographs of the photoshoot, so I could see some of the equipment used to create that lighting.
