Lifestyle with hands updated

When showing my images in the lesson I was suggested to make the napkin smaller as it was to distracting. If it is smaller then the shot will be focused on the sandwich. My teacher made a extremely helpful tutorial on how to make the napkin shorter. I was only able to see the tutorial after the client presentations, so I retouched the image after as we were allowed to make changes before the deadline.

Tutorial (Retouch Comp):

- Replace the floor, move it up higher
- Shift, select, adjustments
- Duplicate background layer
- Square marcie too, rectangle, select the floor
- Copy and Paste
- Flip horizontally
- Slide and line up
- Go in at 100%
- Pen tool
- Save path
- Make it active
- Q Key to protect the rest of the picture
- Make it active again
- Select, modify, feather
- Feather by 1 pixel
- Command c, command v to paste
- Put floor underneath napkin
- Move napkin as high as you can
- Rotate slightly
- Transform, distort
- Layer mask
- Soft brush, flow 15
- Get rid of the edge
- Switch the napkin back on
- Use the layer mask to put the subway logo back in
- Retouch the surrounding layer with the clone stamp

My Version:
Image Comparison:

This is the comparison of images. I think they napkin looks so much better shorter as it is in proportion with the sandwich making it the focus. The highlight on the floor is also gone which was a distraction in the image. I will be making the new version my final image.
