Natura - Gasparini Makeup Studio
The client added to their workshops a new proposal: Experimental Mondays.
There, each student would work with their own concerns, through a personal project.
I was called to generate the art of the pictures which were going to be used to promote the workshop, so I had to choose an idea and use it to experiment.
Juan Gasparini was going to be the makeup artist and Ariel Cabrera, the photographer.
I chose to work with materials provided by nature and propose to select a model with nordic facial features, so the final result was unexpected and non literal.
I thought it would be interesting to work with clay, bandages, flowers, leaves and sponges.
Along with the makeup artist, we researched the materials and i was on set, assisting.

El estudio sumó a sus cursos una nueva propuesta: los Lunes Experimentales.
Cada alumno trabajará sus inquietudes particulares, desarrollando un trabajo cuyo puntapié inicial será una inquietud.
Me convocaron para generar el arte de las imágenes de difusión del curso, invitándome a proponer una idea de trabajo para experimentar.
Juan Gasparini sería el encargado del makeup y Ariel Cabrera haría el registro de imágenes.
Elegí tarbajar con materiales de la naturaleza y generar un styling desde ahí.
Propuse trabajar con una modelo que tuviera rasgos completamente opuestos a los autóctonos, buscando brindar un matiz al resultado final, sin caer en obviedades.
Me pareció interesante trabajar con arcilla, vendas, flores, hojas y esponjas.
Junto al maquillador, realizamos la búsqueda de materiales y estuve presente en el set asistiendo.
