Sekai Kozuma, the author of this book is working across some different fields as an essayist, an artist, and a curator. We designed the first collection of his articles and essays.

To express the author's thoughts, we designed this book by the elements that are thought to be the opposite. We used the colors, typography, and materials that give readers physical impacts. The book has the extra demand to get people's attention with its cover and edges, but once readers open the book, they can find calm and readable pages. It looks like a paperback, but the actual weight is heavy like a hardcover. With these functions, the book leads the readers to the reading experience in which excitement and sedation are intertwined. We also designed a website and motion graphics for the promotion campaign by the same concept.
