The Savanna Comics’ Choice Awards is South Africa’s largest and most prestigious comedy awards event. Each year, the event has a unique theme and this design and visual concept was developed to communicate this year’s theme - the Rhythm of Funny. Hand gestures create a natural rhythm to our storytelling. We use them to express enthusiasm, add emphasis to a statement or communicate a hidden scenario. But it’s the laughter and applause from the audience that helps every comedian find the rhythm to their performance.
