The book project “§117 – a critical text collage about sexual self-determination“ is analyzing the consequences of immigration in the years 2015 and 2016 for the ability of sexual self-determination for women in Germany in comparison to the situation in German society before 2015. It is inspired by the happenings of new years eve in the city of Köln and the growing right-wing movement in Germany since 2013. The aim of this book is to analyze the situation for women in Germany before 2015 which includes an analysis of the society in a historical context as well. It shows that the German, and generally the north European society, has been not as enlightened and conscious regarding the subject before 2015 as people would expect. This information is very interesting in the context of the excuses of the right-wing growth in Germany since 2013. The content and all infographics are made by me in the context of my bachelor thesis in 2017.
Especially proud makes me, that my professors weren't very thrilled by the idea, that I write a book on myself for my bachelor's degree which besides this, discusses such an unpopular subject and opinion. After my presentation, they were very happy, what I did it.
