Uncommon
In the context of an Editorial Design Project during my study, I had the idea to develop a travel and culture magazine about uncommon countries to visit as tourists. That summer I went to Iran with my camera to catch up with the everyday moments of people in a country, no European person knows a lot about. These pictures led me to the idea to create “uncommon“, the travel and culture magazine. It contains not only hints for the best places to go, but it is also a cultural information magazine with tips for everyday life like the best food to try or nice movies to watch, created in the country or by people from this country. Also, for so-called “dangerous“ places, it contains reports of people, who already visited that country. My aim is it, to make unknown and maybe scary places colorful, tasty, and enjoyable to visit and rehumanizing people from there.
