The inspiration behind this piece derived from the great skills of Bob Ross. With this piece, I wanted to experiment with bold colours, landscapes and a large canvas. The solo bear wandering through the eerie forest is meant to be suggestive of the journey we all travel.

• Graphite Pencil (Staedtler) and Charcoal on Strathmore Mixed Media White Paper, Acrylic Paint on Paper
The inspiration behind this piece came from how colourful nature can look like from peering out a window. With this piece, I wanted to experiment with this concept of high saturation for the landscape while keeping the interior greyscale. I tried to punch up the vibrancy of the exterior to exaggerate this idea further.

The inspiration behind this piece derived from the viewing of a radiology textbook. With this piece, I wanted to experiment with how these bones would look in a full colour version. The figures, made transparent though the x ray process, represent the transparency we all share with our partners with a variety of colours representing unique personalities.
