Rock Band - Silhouette Posters
This was a recent project I assigned myself while at home, to have some fun while also creating something which I would actually hang up in my house. I was inspired by a similar project I found on Pinterest which took scenes from Star Wars and created silhouettes of the characters and their actions to clearly portray the scene.
I tried to make each poster work as a standalone piece while also working as a unit if need be. The hardest part of this project was trying to portray the musicians movements in a single image to make them instantly recognizable (with the exception of Flea from RHCP who is well-known for his jumping around on stage).
The project was primarily created in Adobe Illustrator using the image trace tools with photographs I sourced online. The graphics of these photos would then be edited to try create a more recognizable stance. Adobe Photoshop was used for creating the photograph which displays how the posters may look as finished pieces on a wall.
