Polarn O. Pyret
Swedish clothes for kids - store concept
" Happy, dry and warm kids in all types of weather"

In 2006 BDC was commissioned by RNB (Retail n' Brands) to create a new concept for Polarn O. Pyret, a swedish chain of stores for kids clothes.  Their basic vision and purpose is to create smart clothes for all types of weather, mainly to be purchased by parents.

Since the main brand identity for PO.P is based on the swedish 70's, BDC chosed to focus on the ideas and ideals of the time, rather than producing a "retro-look". Scandinavian simplicity, playfulness, proffessionalism and structure. This is what we call PO.P-structuralism. The idea was to see the stores as a world, with a clear 3D grid, structured and with components that acts in a playful, warm and welcoming way.

Project done while employed at BoysDon'tCry AB.
