SWITCHMAGAZINE URBAN CHIC
Digital artwork for the cover and editorial of the September issue of SwitchMagazine
In collaboration with photographer Thilini Gamalath
Switch Magazine is an Italian magazine distributed in Italy, Europe and America. For this work I collaborated with photographer Thilini Galamath, who asked me to illustrate a typical urban view for the background of her photographs. I started by creating soft but strong shapes to recreate a urban landscape, enriching the buildings with glass and stylized details. For the interior images, I used the rooms and walls, sometimes decorating with flowers, lines or simply adding details to the composition. The works were pleasantly welcomed by the editorial staff, and they won the cover of the September 2018 edition entitled "Urban chic".
