The aim of this photoreportage is to portray some representative bands of the Italian under-ground black metal scene, and particularly the ones that use the face-painting during their live performances. This custom, in fact, has an impressive visual power and successfully embodies the spirit of this musical genre. This photoreportage was to promote the bands of the Italian metal scene.
