Copper Catfish Sculpture
by Jeremy Maronpot
by Jeremy Maronpot
This catfish sculpture is formed and TIG welded copper sheet metal. It is about 3.5 feet in length. The 16 gauge metal was hammered by hand and assembled in three sections. The sculpture was modeled after photos taken of a catfish caught at Falls Lake, North Carolina (catch and release). It was originally designed to sit on a pedestal but the client wished to display it on the ground near a decorative catfish and coy pond.
