IT Il libro "Gärtner für Alle" è l'assignment conclusivo del corso di Tipografia e grafica tenuto dal professor Christian Mariacher presso la Facoltà di Design e Arti – Libera Università di Bolzano ( S.E. 2017 / 2018); realizzato con le colleghe Serena Benaglio e Lia Popaz.
Nello specifico il libro si propone come la traduzione cartacea di alcuni materiali digitali sul tema del giardinaggio e della coltivazione domestica, presenti sulla piattaforma serlo.org e distribuiti attraverso le licenze Creative Commons.

IT Domanda principale attorno alla quale ruota tutta la progettazione del libro è, appunto, come tradurre e restituire anche nella forma cartacea la libertà dell'utente nello scegliere i materiali da leggere o scaricare? Abbiamo provato ad interpretare questa caratteristica del web e questo bisogno dell'utente, scegliendo di rilegare ogni capitolo singolarmente con una brossura a colla, ed in seguito di unire tutti i volumi con una rilegatura che prevede l'utilizzo di viti sepolte.

IT Altra scelta progettuale che caratterizza il nostro progetto, è la volontà di allontanarsi dai colori classici utilizzati nell'editoria di settore. I colori principali sono infatti il blu, l'arancione ed il nero che vengono ripresi nelle immagini e nelle illustrazioni ma anche nella tipografia e nella scelta della carta. L'unico elemento che è volutamente classico e riconduce al tema principale, sono le illustrazioni di stampo vittoriano, trattate però in maniera inusuale: colore neon stampato in Risograph.
Another design choice that characterise our project is the desire to move away from the classic colours used in publishing in the sector. The main colours are blue, orange and black, which are used in the images and illustrations but also in the typography and choice of paper. The only element that is deliberately classic and leads back to the main theme are the Victorian-style illustrations, but treated in an unusual way: neon colours printed in risograph.
IT Per gli inserti abbiamo scelto illustrazioni dal sapore vittoriano stampante in Risograph e abbinati a pagine stampate su carta traslucente. Per le copertine abbiamo utilizzato invece la stampa UV.
EN For the inserts we chose Victorian-style illustrations printed in Risograph and combined with pages printed on translucent paper. For the covers, we used UV printing.
