Using inspiration from contemporary Japanese design and cultural values, the idea was to create something that utilises a sense of epic elements and referencing the RFU brand guidelines that intwine with these visual values. The result is an Instagram post that jumps out at the user, utilising bold design and eye catching visuals.
The Epic Showdown
The programme cover intends to create an epic story frame that evokes excitement to the visiting fans on the day, giving the occasion a sense of adventure and action. Using Japanese typography and colours, the design also keeps to the bold brand guidelines of the RFU.
