Orchard Pig
Deliver Orchard Pig as the craft cider equivalent of contemporary craft beer. We want to become the Notorious P.I.G
Craft, Simplicity is Key
The bottle labels were inspired by the idea of pig tags. This represents the individual bottle’s identity and treats each individual bottle as a pig itself with its own code number and colour to represent the different bottled flavours. The bottles look very craft and homemade and therefore answers the brief successfully

The bottle packaging would have a black wooden texture design with the logo seeming to be paint branded on the side. This gives the idea of a trough and the name “The Pig Pen” adds more to the piggy culture that the brand intends to express
Made a Pig's Ear of it
Throughout the project it was essential that I kept the light-hearted and fun poking identity that Orchard Pig was renowned for consistent. This is reflected in the advertising campaign that uses the phrase "Made a pig's ear of it" which does really poke fun at some of the British media's biggest icons. This makes the campaign both socially aware as well as building a relationship between the consumer and the brand
Make it Yours
As part of the campaign, the consumer can get personalised tee-shirts where they can poke fun at themselves in the style of the bottle labels
All About the Puns
The coasters also use the idea of humour with some pig puns also thrown in as they were the main basis of the Orchard Pig identity
Crafty Pints
The glass designs are used on handled glasses which gives it a more rustic and craft look and the tag design is subtly put in with the code number to help both the customer and others identity the flavour in the glass.

The taps also use these code names within circular encapsulations and black with subtle coloured striped handles to add an extra dimension
