YO CREO

This campaign shows exactly what I want to communicate, YO CREO. In Spanish, YO CREO is a play with verb conjugations and can mean both I BELIEVE and I CREATE.

It’s a project which I want to share with all the people who think like me.

YO CREO is aimed at a specific audience and the locations in which you can find it: designers and communication professionals and thus the whereabouts of their advertising and communication agencies, graphic design studios and the places in which this group of people congregates. It wants to bring together creatives and transmit to them respect and adoration for all these materials that we use to communicate with.

Referencing both the hand of the creator and the hand of God, the pointing hand (a very recognized graphic symbol) is used to enhance the graphic play between the 'believe' and 'create' elements upon which the project is based on.

The campaign makes use of social networks and various guerilla strategies such as networking on different social platforms, stickers and posters in the streets, e-mails, merchandising etc...
Posters and stickers in strategic places...
Guerilla actions in some book store and places usually visited by designers:
"estampitas" done in the style of religious cards, with familiar design elements replacing saints.
Conclusion:

Just in the first month of the campaign, YO CREO got more than 1000 creative professionals following it on Facebook, was published in magazines and had blogs speaking about the project. Moreover, I got a Special National Mention in a competition, and a National Award for Young Creatives, from the Youth Institute, Government of Spain. Some people were interested in working with me, and the more importantly loads of people now know about my work and what I do.
