MUSIC  JELLY
This jelly is the result of a workshop which aim was to translate a song into a three-dimensional object made with 3D plaster printing. The final product was created after designing and modelling the shape on Rhinoceros, which was then thermoformed and filled with colored silicone.
The song I analyzed is "Robbers" by The 1975, a song which has a rhythm very similar to the heartbeat. When you listen to this melody you are immediately enchanted by its beats which merge and blend with those of your heart rhythm, giving us a sense of freedom and a feeling of loss of every body boundary.
Starting from this concept, which is also reinforced by the shade of colour, I wanted to create a dynamic form, which seems to be willing to evolve and change from one moment to another.

This project has been exhibited in "SEMPERING" at MUDEC in occasion of the Triennale di Milano in 2016.
Project developed in 2015.
