We take the guess work out of finding a roommate
AmplRoom is a web start up that I, along with my 4 teammates (Craig Martek, Richard Thomas, David Brenner, and Scott Victor) created in order to compete in RIT48. What is RIT48? It was a challenge to create a web start up company in 48 hours. We had to produce a solid business plan complete with financials and plan for monetization along with a working prototype of our website. AmplRoom, our business, is a roommate matching system that serves a dual purpose: find a roommate AND find a place to live.
The judges award us first place in the competition because of our business plan and our designs. While my layouts are in their early stages, this is still a remarkable project that I am proud to have been apart of and I'm throughly impressed with the quality of work that we were able to turn on in such a short period of time. The best part is that my team mates and I are going to continue to refine the functionality of AmplRoom and eventually launch our services. It's just the beginning for us.
