Write it in Frosting
If you had to die, how would you say goodbye?

"Write it in Frosting" was the brain child of me and Stephanie Boland. We took the idea of people's last words before they die and approached it in a light-hearted and fun way. Stephanie designed our logo and poster that we hung around RIT campus while I designed the accompanying website. Between the posters, Facebook, and word of mouth, we were able to generate interest in our website and got people to contribute their anonymous "last words." We wanted a more interactive way to distribute everyone's last words to the RIT community so we used cupcakes. We baked over 200 cupcakes and printed out 200 of the best "last words." The "last words" were attached to the back of a cupcake sleeve that we created out of scrap booking paper. The last words were taped to the inside of the sleeve so people had to stop and take the sleeve off in order to find their "last word." Passing out the free cupcakes with both whimsical and thoughtful last words touched the hearts (and stomachs) of +200 RIT students.
OUR HOMEPAGE - Famous last words are displayed at the bottom
THE LAST WORDS - how we displayed all of the Last Words
PROMOTION - one of the many ways we promoted our cupcake giveaway
THE EVENT - We handed our free cupcakes to the RIT student body with the Last Words taped to the inside of our cupcakes.
