Made in 2010, in this book two things I ’m very passionate about come together: Historic motor sports and the “Hockenheimring”. Being interested in cars, especially classic models all my life, I started photographing motor sport events eight years ago. Five years ago I took my first pictures at a historic car race. This is a selection of pictures taken at “Jim Clark Revival” in 2008, “Hockenheim Historic in Memory of Jim Clark” in 2009 and 2010, and at the “Akademisches” in 2008.
Some technical data: Large format (33x28 cm), Hardcover with black linen and dust jacket. 120 pages containing more than 100 photographs. Photography, image edting and layout by me.
The four chapters are colour-coded with four classic racing colours: British Racing Green, Rosso Corsa, Bleu de France and German Silver. The last two images show the foliation of two chapters, they repeat the chapter colours again.
