The extraordinary artistic expression of Harry Styles was the starting point of this CD/ LP design. His unique aesthetics, his very modern approach towards the pop culture and his inclusive, queer identity were the critical points of the decision to make an illustrated portrait. The illustrative method used was the one called “w-pap”, where polygons are being placed in layers in order to depict the different colour tonalities and the volume of the object. The pose selected was a seductive yet playful one, in order to be in-line with his signature gestures in photoshoots. Pastel colours in a very specific palette were chosen to colourise the portrait and transmit the
bright, happy feeling of his songs. The contemporary direction of the font “Panton Light” that was selected and presented as display lettering supported the overall communicative vibe.
