Rojalet

For this label design, we were inspired by the name of the product itself. Rojalet sounds similar to the red colour in Catalan language. The name refers to the characteristic red soil where the grapes for this wine are grown. One of the ways we found to represent this red soil, was through the strata and layers. From an abstract vision of this layers, we created three different patterns, playing with colours, textures and shapes.

The patterns represent the flavour of each wine. For the aged red wine, we looked for the sobriety of black and gold. Representing a more mineral touch with the textures. A more vivid and bright colour range for white wine. Something that reflected a fruity and fresh taste. And finally, black background and subtle coloured lines, to reflect the intensity of the young red wine.

Awards:
Laus Bronze and TheDieline Outstanding Achievement.
