As part of a major push for target to reinvent its electronics sections nationwide, Schematic Touch developed this Video Game Reinvention touchscreen system to assist shoppers in selecting video games. Target recognized that most video purchasers were the parents of gamers rather gamers themselves and therefore required a level of information about video game options that had been previously unavailable to in-store shoppers. By introducing this system into stores, Target was able to give shoppers the same level of information that they would have been able to find online at home but deliver it to them at the point of purchase.
