Arena is a manufacture of concert equipment from China. They work at a very narrow, but at the same time full of competition, world market. When they decided to start developing their own unique product, they recognized that it must be something completely new.
From the beginning it was a challenge, as it was required to make “Lamborghini” in the world of concert equipment. The philosophy of aggressive, dynamic and technological design was taken as a basis, as it should attract not only ordinary users, but people who are sophisticated in technology and design.
Arena - производитель концертного оборудования из Китая. Они работают на очень узком, но в тоже время полном конкуренции всемирном рынке. Когда они принимали решение заняться разработкой своего уникального продукта, было осознание того, что нужно создавать нечто совсем новое.
С самого начала была поставлена очень сложная задача: требовалось сделать "Lamborghini" в мире концертного оборудования. За основу была взята философия агрессивного, динамичного и технологичного дизайна, так как он не должен привлекать обычного пользователя, а людей искушенных в технологиях и дизайне.
The device itself consist of many separate parts. We understood that, with the help of design tools, we have to link all the components in a complete composition. Everything started with the analysis of the market. We considered different brands, studied how they develop their products. Inspired by various manifestations of dynamism, aggressiveness and technology in the form of a variety of products, concepts and art from a wide range of creative industries and production.
Then followed the stage of sketching. More than 15 iteration of design were done until it got its final look. Each line, each edge and verge in it is unique and complementary. Deeping to more, closely consider the shape and design itself, we see broken lines that give some courageous character traits to the design. Longitudinal lines on the panels resemble the digitalized electrical circuits. And all this in the aggregate is connected in one complex system.
Сам прибор состоит из множества отдельных деталей. Мы понимали, что при помощи средств дизайна, нам предстоит связать все компоненты в целостную композицию. Все началось с анализа рынка. Мы рассматривали разные бренды, изучали как они развивают свои продукты. Вдохновлялись различными проявлениями динамичности, агрессивности и технологичности в форме самых разных продуктов, концептов, артов из самых разных отраслей творчества и производства.
Далее следовал этап эскизирования. Было сделано более 15 итераций дизайна, пока он не приобрел окончательный вид. Каждая линия, каждое ребро и грань в нем уникальны и дополняющие друг друга. Углубляясь, чтобы более пристально рассмотреть форму и сам дизайн, мы видим ломаные линии, которые придают дизайну некие мужественные черты характера. Продольные линии на панелях напоминают диджитализированные электро-схемы. И все это в совокупности связывается в одну сложную систему.
Сompany did not stop at this and took up the development of its other products, as they realized that design is a very important tool in the competition on the market.
На этом компания не остановилась и взялась за развитие других своих продуктов, так как пришло осознание, что дизайн это очень важный инструмент в борьбе на рынке.
