Location: Chrystie and Grand Street, Bowery, NY
Considerations: Light, Air and Circulation through floors
Concepts: Users can see and be seen - elevated planes manipulating eye levels
Section A: Information centers on each floor
Section B: Light well, Auditorium, Bookstacks
Each floor entrance is located in an informational center indented into the floor.
Two continuous light wells bring light to the bookstacks placed near the party-walls.
 
Each info. center is oriented towards the community park on Chrystie Street.
