Atlas Provisions

The task of this project was to create a holistic brand that evokes a sense of adventure, culture, and genuine approachability. Working together with local illustrator Jesse Lindhorst of Friend & Fort, we developed a system of design and illustration elements that hold true to that sense of travel and wonder. Custom cultural flavor illustrations, technical mapping patterns, and old-world typography techniques were just a few of the various approaches we used for the Atlas Provisions brand and packaging system.

The Spirit of Adventure

Owner and operator Sarah Pritzker’s goal is for Atlas Provisions to use food as a way to bring various cultures together and to inspire adventure both in the culinary world and in the real world. Her first product “Popped Lotus Seeds” are inspired by a common Indian snack Phool Makhana. The seeds come in a variety of flavors including maple caramel, chipotle lime, chocolate sea salt, and truffle salt.

Friend & Fort

While working on Atlas Provisions, I had the pleasure of collaborating with my good friend and talented illustrator Jesse Lindhorst. His unique and whimsical style matched perfectly with the brand voice. Together we created a library of illustrations based on flavor, culture and perspective.
