It's been an honor working with a client who understands the power and importance of design. Cocktail Kits is the lovechild of Justin Durling working out of New York. Our vision for this project was to merge together two styles of vintage & modern to create a new fresh design with callouts to rustic design heritage. The kits themselves are pocket sized and can be brought anywhere. They include two main ingredients along with a recipe instruction card and a muddler spoon, just add your own favorite spirit! Cocktail Kits

The challenge of this project was to create a packaging system that felt vintage in style, but with a modern twist in order to be more approachable to multiple audiences and consumers. Working together with owner and operator Justin Durling of Cocktail Kits 2 Go, we developed a system of design elements that portray classic cocktail heritage by utilizing stylistic nuances from that era. We achieved this look through custom typography, unique cocktail illustrations, and information architecture along with other various elements and techniques.

If you'd like to purchase a kit, or learn more about Cocktail Kits 2 Go, you can visit their website at cocktailkits2go.com.

Cheers Friends

No happy hour is complete without good friends. I'd like to thank a few of my talented friends that were a part of Cocktail kits; Colin Schye for his extensive web skills, Kelley Mann and Brent Schoepf for their photography prowess, the team at Studio on Fire for their printing expertise, and Justin Durling for his dedication to great work, and for this awesome opportunity.
