A group project for my interactiive media design course.

For this assignment, the problem that we addressed was very specific to our institute; It has to deal with the discipline-based curriculum system and the lack of a necessary amount of inter-academic interaction.

 

The concept was to develop a system of information for the students so as to utilize the inter disciplinary nature of the institute. We went through a vigorous process of course categorization, hypothetical management segregation and finally interface development, to come up with this web based output.

 

There is a simple constant update of events at the center hexagon of this hive struture; And an easy hover triggered information system for the other hexagons. Further, on a mouse click, a time-table of events within that area of interest is available. which elaborates in a central black hexagon when clicked.

 

We also added tabs for a blog wall and e-book archive as it’s a secure student ID system of log in that allows for such academic interactions.
