"Circo do Alceu" é um projeto de uma futura animação. Fui convidado para fazer o conceito dos personagens para empresa Cine Group, que enviou o projeto para concurso em um edital. A história consiste na trajetória do menino João e seu excêntrico avô, Alceu, que é dono de um circo. Alceu transita entre universo do circo e do sonho com seu neto. Ambos enfrentam o Homem da Meia Noite, que ambiciona conquistar todos os universos. Contudo, com ajuda da Estela, uma menina mágica, avô e neto enfrentarão essa ameaça.

"Circo do Alceu" is a project of a future animation. I was invited to make the concept of the characters for company Cine Group, which sent the project to a contest. The story consists of the trajectory of boy João and his eccentric grandfather, Alceu, who owns a circus. Alceu transits between universe of the circus and the dream with his grandson. Both face Homem da Meia n, who aspires to conquer all universes. However, with Estela's help, a magical girl, grandfather and grandson will face this threat.

Avô Alceu é o excêntrico personagem principal e é inspirado no Alceu Valença, um grande artista brasileiro. Dono de um circo que visita pequenas cidade nordestinas, Alceu tem a capacidade de navegar entre o universo do circo e do sonhos. Suas cores no mundo do circo são mais quentes e fazem referência a paisagem nordestina.
Grandfather Alceu is the eccentric main character and is inspired by Alceu Valença, a great Brazilian artist. Owner of a circus that visits brazilian small northeastern cities, Alceu has the ability to navigate between the universe of the circus and the dreams. Its colors in the circus world are warmer and refer to the Northeastern landscape.

O Homem da Meia Noite é o vilão da história, misterioso e caótica, ele vive no universo do pesadelo. Ele tem o objetivo de lançar um feitiço que o fará controlá todos os outros universos. É inspirado em uma música de Alceu Valença e no tradicional boneco alegórico do carnaval de Olinda, Pernambuco.
O Homem da Meia Noite ( The Mmidnight Man) is the villain of history, mysterious and chaotic, he lives in the universe of the nightmare. He has the purpose of casting a spell that will make him control all other universes. It is inspired by a song by Alceu Valença and by the traditional allegorical figure of the carnival of Olinda, Pernambuco.
