Magazine Groot Onderhoud
Groot Onderhoud (Major Maintenance) is a magazine reporting on Nieuw Elan’s design contest. The competition was organised by housing corporations Haag Wonen, Mitros, Com·wonen, Portaal and the Stimuleringsfonds voor Architectuur (Netherlands Architecture Fund), currently called Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie (Creative Industry Fund). With the competition the initiators wanted to draw attention to spatial and social issues in residential areas from the 70s and 80s. The cover illustrates the contents: brown with bright yellow paint. These colours turn up in the rest of the book as well, giving the magazine the look and feel of the 70s and 80s.
