RTÉ Radio 1 Short Story Competition
Brand Identity
A new event identity for RTÉ Radio 1's annual Short Story Competition, a competition of original short stories for radio, which was started in 1986 as a platform for new and emerging Irish authors. This years event was held in The Irish Architectural Archive on September 11th, 2018.
Brand applications included outdoor promotional print work, online and social media assets and printed backdrops and postcards for the event.
The identity is based around screenprint-style illustrations of a vintage typewriter in a grid of alternating coloured blocks that can be assembled in any variation to fill the available space.
